Assembler II - 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)

Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)

Pay rate: $17- $19/hr

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembler II to join our team. This role involves performing routine and precision assembly of electronic components while maintaining high quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate automated and manual prep equipment
Insert and install thru-hole components (capacitors, resistors, ICs, connectors) based on work instructions and engineering drawings
Use hand tools to perform thru-hole assembly and minor part-fitting tasks (filing, crimping, etc.)
De-panel individual circuit boards from arrays
Create and apply labels including serial numbers and revision identifiers
Perform high-volume, repetitive assembly tasks with consistent quality
Inspect and verify assembled products meet internal and customer standards

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent
2-4 years of experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment
Ability to read and follow written work instructions in English
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Good manual dexterity for handling small components
Experience using hand tools and assembly equipment
IPC-610 and/or J-STD-001 certification preferred (not required)
Ability to work under guidance of senior personnel and participate in ongoing training
